Move disks from X6 to NV+?
Hi,
My colleague has a very old X6 (dates from Infrant days 🙂 ) which has given up the ghost. Current indications are that the motherboard is no longer good, there are bulging capacitors on it.
To get the data off the 4-disk RAID volume, is it possible to put the disks into an NV+ and get at the data that way? Will the NV+ even boot with the OS installed by the X6?
Thanks,
Colin

Re: Move disks from X6 to NV+?
The NV+ v1 will work fine with X6 disks. The v2 though is not compatible. 99% of the NV+ you see on the shelf today will be the v2.

Ok, thanks. Yes, this a second-hand NV+ that I was eyeing.
