My NAS RN212 can detect 2 drives, but only one of them is working. 2 brand new 4 TB HDD.
Does anyone know what's going on?

When you use XRAID, the system will use RAID-1 - mirroring the two disks to give you some protection against disk failures.
If you don't want that behavior, then switch to flexraid, destroy the data volume, and then create two JBOD volumes (one for each disk).
