NV+ V2 and the WDTV Live
Hey Guys,
No matter how I try I cannot get my WDTV Live to connect to a network share on my NV+ V2.
I am running the latest firmware on the ReadyNas (5.3.7) and the latest on my WDTV
The WDTV connects fine to my old Buffalo with no issues, and I do not want to use DLNA.
thanks again!

Re: NV+ V2 and the WDTV Live
OK I got a work around
0. install the latest firmware for your ReadyNas and turn on NFS service for your share and put in the IP of your WDTV for security
1. load up WDLXTV homebrew firmware - http://forum.wdlxtv.com/viewforum.php?f=61
2. install telnet on your WD
3. plug in a usb stick (if you have a USB drive in already your cool) the USB stick tricks the WD to show the local drives
4. follow the instructions here http://wiki.wdlxtv.com/Net.mounts
now you can play all your files on the WDTV Live through the ready nas!
I am still going to try and get smb working... but at least after 8 months I can use the damn nv+ v2 to stream through shares!
