If everything else works but that specific device, did you check with the device manufacturer?

Re: New music streamer cannot detect ReadyNAS

Hi

Thx for responding.

I have sent to manufacturer but no response yet.

This is the gadget :

https://advance-acoustic.com/en/multimedia-and-wireless/wifi-network-player/168-wtx-streamtubes

Thing is:

If I enable DLNA on my router or a PC on the local network the streamer detects those.

However since no music is stored on those it can not play of course..

This is why it might be something w ReadyNas hiding some DNLA things from the network that some smart troubleshooting steps could fix.

What firmware is the NAS running?

Try rebooting the NAS with the player running, and see if that helps the player find it.
