Re: Plex Broken after upgrade to 6.7.3
I found my apt-update procedures failed because of a failing dependency regarding vim, thus
uninstalling vim and reinstalling is a good way to help with the blocked update packages.

Re: Plex Broken after upgrade to 6.7.3
If you install 3rd party packages that can break things, yes. Something else that might have worked could possibly have been to install the updated vim over the top of the already installed one without going and removing it.

Re: Plex Broken after upgrade to 6.7.3
Yeah, i tried, but the dependency between some of the vim libs will result in a fail to upgrade it. Simply deinstalling vim and vim-tiny and reinstall vim will work as expected and remove the autoupdate blockade.

Re: Plex Broken after upgrade to 6.7.3
I had a plex startup problem on 6.7.4. it oddly didn't happen until after my 3rd boot (2 6.7.4 hangs by the way so seems worse to me than the prior version). The problem was very mysterious, I think it was related to this vim issue but even after doing these steps and having a good install it still happened. I loaded and exported the contents of the environment file manually from the shell prompt and then invoked the server from the command line. It came up and looked good from the web so I exited, ran systemctl daemon-reload on a whim and then tried to start it again from front view. This time it finally started. Spent 45 minutes dorking around with this and I have no idea what really fixed it.
