Power Timer setting after HDD migration from 1000S -> NV+
Since the Power Timer options on a 1000S don't support timed power on, I decided to try migrating the HDDs from a 1000S unit being used for timed backups, to a NV+ unit, since both are sparq platform devices. Whilst the migration was successful, it seems that the timer options from the 1000S were carried over in their entirety, as the power on option now do not appear on the NV+ power timer pulldown menus (and correspondingly after migrating the former NV+ HDDs over to the 1000S, making a 1:1 swap, the power on options *do* now appear on 1000S unit).
Does anyone know the best way to configure/reset the power timer options to correctly match the unit's capabilities. Both units are running the most recent 4.1.13 firmware for sparq based units.

Have you tried an OS Re-install?

It turned out that running a firmware update (to same version) appears to have fixed the issue - Power On now appears in the menu pulldowns & the NV+ just successfully powered down on the timer. Assuming it comes back up on schedule on Monday, all should now be well.
Will repeat the firmware update on the 1000S to remove the Power On from it's pulldowns (as I assume that that it wouldn't have worked, despite being present on menu?). Actually, the differing Power On capabilities/behavior of the 1000s vs the NV+ are rather useful - although the 1000S cannot power on via on-board timer, it will auto boot upon receiving power, which the NV+ does not. This makes the 1000S suitable for providing a storage resource that can be remotely powered on (via a separate IP power switch) & off (via Frontview) as required. The NV+ on the other hand is more suitable for running autonomous backups, since it can power on/off via it's own timer.
