I plan on using the Power Timer so the NAS is on from 9am to 11:30pm, if I have a backup job set to run at 4am what happens? Does the NAS power up to complete the job and then power down?
Also the Snapshot system is supposed to take a snapshot at midnight, but My NAS would have powered down. What would happen in this situation?
Ok, I ran my own test and set the Power Timer to go off at midnight just before the snapshot should have run. On checking the logs this morning the snapshot didnt happen. As I can't see a way to alter the time the snapshot is taken I have had to push the Power Timer on by 1 hour. I would guess that the backup jobs would have the same issue.
