RN102 And Transmission
Im Trying to get Transmission to work, i installed it via a package i found on the forums as an app. But every time i try to download something i get an "Error folder does not Exist" error ive tried change its download folder and giving that folder full read write permissions via SSH.
IS there something im missing or is there a better way to install via SSH?

Re: RN102 And Transmission
with the RN102, you can go to the app tab and select transmission in available packages, nothing to do with forums or SSH install.

Re: RN102 And Transmission
Im On The Current Version of Firmware, Cannot Get the Genie Market to work at all. when i go to the tab it says it has to be enabled i click of it enables, then asks me for login which i provide, then nothing. white page.
if i leave that page and come back it tells me i need to enable it again. it does this even if i enable it in the settings page. ive been unable to use it at all so far.

Re: RN102 And Transmission
You don't need genie. Doesn't work on my NAS either by the way.
Go to apps / available apps. Just between genie and installed apps. You should see at least two bittorent clients : transmission and qbittorrent in the list.

Re: RN102 And Transmission
When you say firmware current version, you mean 6.1.5 I suppose (just checking).
You should have something there, on my NAS I have something like 20apps but this is not genie. Did you try another web browser ? (heard IE11 had some problems, I'm running on safari for mac so don't really know what they are exactly, you can try chrome).
Otherwise I don't know what to tell you, you can open a ticket with Netgear if you want to, try OS reinstall (or factory reset if you have nothing on the NAS yet, it's advised to do a factory reset after 6.1.5 anyway if you haven't done so).

Re: RN102 And Transmission
Sorry About the late reply. yes running 6.1.5 considering updating to the beta of 6.1.6 but will this wipe out my sickbeard/sabnzbd config that ive setup via SSH? id prefer not to have to set that up again. Im currently using Chrome, though i admit i didnt check it with another browser, ill try with firefox/IE this evening when im home. thanks for the advice!
super-poussin You mean the path im downloading to? currently its set to "/TwoDrive/Main/Download" twodrive being what ive called my array, Main what ive called my share and Download is a new folder i created and chmoded 777 recurring. the path is valid in SSH, unless the transmision client sees the file system diffrently? however it is much the same setup i used for sickbeard and it doesnt seem to have issues creating folders.
