RN102 - Can't map network drive to top level, only shares
Hello, I'm just setting up my new RN102.
I can navigate in Win7 explorer by going to folder \\hostname
I can set up a mapped drive to \\hostname\backup (or whatever share)
But I can't set up a mapped drive to the top level, \\hostname.
I get a Windows Security popup asking me for a username and password. The admin user/password I set up for the browser based admin page doesn't work.
Am I doing something wrong, or is it simply not possible to map at that high a level?
Thanks

It's not possible, which in my view is a bug.

Re: RN102 - Can't map network drive to top level, only share
Thanks StephenB, at least I now know I wasn't doing anything stupid 🙂
I'll reorganise the drive so there's a single top level share that I can map to.
