So as per other threads I have come across I know RN is based on Deb. Is it possible to install Webmin, Apache, MySQL, as well as Bind DNS to basically turn it into a full fledge "VPS" so to speak? or is that too much to expect from it?
It might be possible for these add-ons or apps to be installed but the units CPU and memory isn't powerful enough to run those or let's say it's too much for the RN104 unit. Try to consider higher OS 6 models like 200, 300, 500 and 700 series.

It's not that we discourage you from trying but running all of these add-ons at the same time and using other features might give you a poor performance.
I apologize but this type of case or issue requires assistance from our Engineering team. I believe you are aware that your ReadyNAS unit is out of support warranty and you need to pay for per-incident support to proceed.
