ReadyNAS 4 increasing disk size strategy?
I have a readynas 4 Pro with 4x2tb drives.
I have a couple of 3tb drives that I want to use to replace 2 of the existing 2tbs.
Should I aim to add the 3tbs at one end (3322), or should I aim to interleave them (2323)?
The faq suggests replacing one disk, wating for a resync, replace another, wait for resync, and then reboot. Have I understood that correctly?
TIA.

Re: ReadyNAS 4 increasing disk size strategy?
Whatever you like.
First make sure you are running RAIDiator 4.2.16 or later
Second check the health of the disks. If a disk is in poor health replace that one first.
What disks were installed when you last did a factory default?

Re: ReadyNAS 4 increasing disk size strategy?
Thanks. I don't recall what disks I originally had in, but the unit has had several disk additions / replacements over several years.
