ReadyNAS OS 6.4.2 - Can not write to address
My last known working fw was 6.2.4, I've recently updated to 6.4.2 and almost everything is working except my image backups. I've tried doing a disk image backup to a USB drive connected to the RN102 as well as to the RN102 RAID array itself and in both cases I eventually get a can't write to location error.
I'd like to roll back to an earlier version and try it out but I don't know how far back I can roll.
I have 6.2.5, 6.4.0, and 6.4.1 I can try. Based on some earlier comments I can try either a system reset and /or rolling back to 6.4.0.
Looking for any comments/issues?
Thanks

Re: ReadyNAS OS 6.4.2 - Can not write to address
Which filesystem is on the USB disk?
There is an updated NTFS driver in 6.5.0 (currently in beta: ReadyNASOS 6.5.0 (RC3)).
6.5.0 is due for release soon.
I think you would be better to try 6.5.0 than to downgrade the firmware.

Re: ReadyNAS OS 6.4.2 - Can not write to address
Thanks for the quick reply.
Both the USB disk and NAS are NTFS for my windows systems. I have both win10 and win7 clients, both failing the same way.
I can live with doing my image backups to a direct attached USB disk. I will look for the 6.5 release and try that.

Updating to 6.5 resolved the issue.
