ReadyNAS PRO 4.2.41 Firmware Upgrade MAC 10.6 Issues
After upgrading to Raidiator 4.2.21, I experienced issues with the MAC 10.6 machines being able to access files. All 10.7 and all PC's had no issues. I will say that I went from 4.2.5 to 4.2.16 and then to 4.2.21 in big jumps.
The work around that I found that works best is to use the 'EVERYONE' permission level assigned into the active directory by the ReadyNAS unit in addition to Domain Users which was in the past, all we needed to give access to everyone.

Perhaps open an online support case at my.NetGear.com
You're not the first to find this.
Is there a reason you're still running 10.6? Unless you need PowerPC software or have hardware too old for Lion it'd be a good idea to update to 10.7 in my view. With the release of 10.8 imminent there'll be less support for 10.6 from Apple and App developers going forward.
