ReadyNAS Pro Business Edition: Replace Disk, System Failed
Hello all,
I'm having trouble after replacing a disk on my with my ReadyNAS Pro Business Edition.
After hot swapping the drives (all identical and compatible WD drives), it started to sync. The next day i saw an ERR message on the front panel.
Rebooted and the volume scan failed.
So:
Resync failed.
Volume scan failed.
No volumes present in admin console.
It's all bad. Somehow, I don't feel like it's the end of the world ...
Any and all suggestions welcome. I'm thinking

Re: ReadyNAS Pro Business Edition: Replace Disk, System Fail
Do you have a backup?
Are there any pointers to disk problems in the smart stats.
What does raidar say about the disks and the volume?
What firmware?
If you don't have a backup you should contact support and be prepared to pay for data recovery. Anything you try now may make it more difficult to retrieve your data.
