ReadyNas pro2 keeps disconnecting from Network
Hello
First post here. :D
I have been ReadyNas user for some years: good kit for me.
Have been burned by HW failure in past and learnt value of proper storage, backup, and, redundancy.
I have simple home network 5 PCs, 2 Laptops, with DLink DIR-615 as router.
XPSP3 utdate.
Have ReadyNAS NVX and Pro2 attached to network for storage and backups ( have other HW systems for keeping UTD images )
Wired connections to Router.
The readyNAsNVX has been rock solid. Always on. No issues.
The Pro2 I use for mirror/sync from NVX for certain files
Both drives mapped in XP
Both with fixed ip addy in Router.
Both latest version of Radiator.
The Pro2 continually drops off the network:
"Disconnected Network Drive" in My Computer, Not visible in MY Network, cant be found in Browser.
" Network Path not Found"
It's annoying to find that auto-sync tools pop-up with messages about "unable to .." and having to reboot to copy etc.
Reboot does not always reconnect: and I'm not keen to reboot again and again because of this.
Seems Only fix is to restart the NAS from front panel.
Have googled this as best I can and it seems I'm not alone.
Is there something I need to do, some config to change ???
Any solutions plz.
Regards.
