Hi MrtAlways,
Could you confirm if you are getting the same behavior when installing other or another app /or add-on? Also, we would like to request the system device logs of your device.
Kind regards,
BrianL

Re: Readynas 204 mailserver iRedmail
Hi BrianL,
Yesterday I have tried to install iRedmail from ReadyNAS get apps and I've got the error "Can not install iRedmail" and it wasn't installed.
Today I look again and it is installed. But when I start the app I've got an "internal server error".
Now I can't delete the app.
Hou can I send the systyem logs to you?
And is there a installation guide how to install the app on the ReadyNas like Synology?
Regards,
MrtAlways

Hi BrianL,
I can't install other apps like Plex Media Server.
And I send you the system logs.

Re: Readynas 204 mailserver iRedmail
It appears the MySQL password is different to what the app was expecting and thus the app failed to install.

Re: Readynas 204 mailserver iRedmail
Hi,
I just installed iRedmail. I have no MySQL on my NAS.
If I try to install it I get an error in the system log "System: Cannot install application MySql Server"
I get that error with every app that I try to install. And then i can't uninstall the app.
Mabey the OS system is a little corrupt. Can I do a factory reset witout losing data?
Or is there a better way.
Regards,
MrtAlways

Re: Readynas 204 mailserver iRedmail
MySQL is a dependency for a number of apps.
A factory reset would wipe all your data, so don't do that unless you have a backup of your data.
You could try cleaning things up using SSH (removing the apps including mysql using that) but be aware of the implications of enabling SSH if you want to go down that route.

Re: Readynas 204 mailserver iRedmail
Hi,
The only solution for me then is a factory reset. Not something I'm happy about.
Its not my fault that the Nas can't install the apps.
Is there a way that Netgear support has another way to solve this?
Regards,
MrtAlways
