Readynas Replicate Error

Hi, I have two devices running ReadyNas replicate. On the LAN the replicate completes fine. However remotely most of the time it fails mid-way through the copy. On occasion it completes ok. The log reports -

[2017-01-15 00:18:03] [Info] Copy in progress
[2017-01-15 01:08:53] [Error] Copy failed
[2017-01-15 01:08:53] [Info] Rotate backups (1)
[2017-01-15 01:08:53] [Info] Rotation marker is "2017-01-14 00-15 (failed)"
[2017-01-15 01:10:38] [Info] Deinitialize source device
[2017-01-15 01:10:39] [Info] Sending task to source device
[2017-01-15 01:14:58] [Error] Unable to send task
[2017-01-15 01:14:58] [Error] Device deinitialization failed
[2017-01-15 01:14:59] [Info] p2p disconnect with nas

I have read in the community that this may be an issue with a config file and firmware upgrades, but cannot find any further information.

Any help would be much appreciated,

Thanks.

Re: Readynas Replicate Error

Dmd,

If Replicate is working on your LAN, but not when a NAS is on a remote site, then it sounds to me that network drops is the cause.

Replicate would be very sensitive to Internet drops.

I doubt firmware is the problem.

A 2nd thought is try at 3am, or a different slot.

Is issue persistent or intermittent.?

If you are to open a support ticket, the agents will look for

logs off both NASs, and your Replicate  account login.

                          Regards, Marto

Re: Readynas Replicate Error

Are you able to send in the logs from both units (see the Sending Logs link in my sig)?
