Restore data from exteranl hd via usb backup

I used Ready share vault to back up my PC last year. I can see the backup on the external HD via usb to my router. How do I restre the data from that back up to the PC that i had to reload sys software to?

This is a problem with your Netgear Router correct?

You've posted it in the wrong place (ReadyNAS).  Let us know the router model number and we will move it to the right place.

It is a problem using ReadySHARE vault. I have tried to restore my data 5 times and it keeps getting interupted... the app stops working in windows explorer and asks me if I if I want to stop it or search for a solution online. It seems to restart fine if ai choose to search for a solution. The last time it had some kind of netgear time out error.

And ReadySHARE Vault runs on your router, correct?
