I need to access my ReadyNAS NVX using PuTTY (from a Windows 10 PC).
I have installed the "Enable Root SSH Access" add-on - my log confirms this (see attached screenshot).
When I use PuTTY to attempt to login to my NAS as user 'admin' the following happens:
a) If I enter my admin password the PuTTY window instantly closes.
b) If I enter an incorrect password I receive the expected error message and am prompted again for my password.
Clearly I am missing something here - what??
Regards,
Geoff

Ooops!
Just me having a blind spot. I was trying to login as user 'admin' rather than 'root'. 😞

Log in as root, not admin
Edit: nvm, had the thread open and forgot to refresh before replying - I see you figured it out yourself 😉
