SMTP server on different subnet
Hi,
We failed to setup the email alert because our SMTP server is on a different subnet. Do we have to use the NIC2 on the ReadyNAS or is there a way sending email through another server which is on both subnets?
Regards,
Neal

Re: SMTP server on different subnet
Why not configure a routing in you router between the different subnet?
If still any question, please attach your network plan.

Re: SMTP server on different subnet
We ended up adding a spare network card into the mail server, thanks Rabbie for your advice.
