Re: SU Access

Have you tried logging in to SSH as 'root' (no quotes)?

Something is off then.  You should be able to log in as root, using the NAS admin password (and that is the normal way to access the NAS with ssh).

Re: SU Access

Would this be the default admin user or any user I have setup as an admin.

I believe I have forgotten the default admin password is there a way to reset it without resetting the NAS drive.

It's the password for the actual admin account, not other users in the admin group.

An OS-reinstall will reset the password to password.  It will also reset the network connection to use DHCP, and turn off volume quotas.  Data isn't lost, and those other changes are easily undone.

Re: SU Access

Thanks will try this tonight and set the NAS back up.

Just got to find my manual now, I am sure a search online will get me one.
