Seamless migration from 4bay NVX to Pro 4?
I'd like to upgrade from a fully populated 4bay NVX to a Pro 4 and I have the following questions:
1) Is it just as easy as cold-swapping the disks from the NVX to the Pro4?
2) Do I need to proconfigure the Pro4 to match the configuration of the NVX?
3) Can I import an NVX configuration file into the Pro 4?
The NVX is using the x86 arch if that matters.
Thanks!

Re: Seamless migration from 4bay NVX to Pro 4?
1) yes
2) no, but it is recommend to ensure that both the old and new device have the same firmware revision, use a single spare/extra disk any size, put in new device, boot and update firmware, after it is updated, cold swap disks, keep all 4 in same order.
3) yes, but it is not necessary, the OS and config is all stored on the disks, so wherever the disks go, so goes the existing config.
keep in mind, static and physical mishandling can still damage disks, always recommended to ensure you have an up to date backup, no raid system is a substitute for backups.
