Share Access via HTTP
I have a ReadyNAS Duo v2 with RAIDiator 5.3.6.
I would like to make several shares available via HTTP access. However I only can do that for a share which I explicitly set under Services -> HTTP Settings -> Redirect default web access to this share. For a share I select here HTTP access is working. However, is there a possibility to have more than one share accessible as well? And if yes, what do I have to do besides enabling HTTP for the share?
And a second question about HTTP access:
I only can make HTTP access working for all users without any user/password prompting because I need to set "Readonly" for "Everyone" in the share. If I just select a dedicated user I do not get a user/password prompt but just a "404 not found" in the browser.
Maybe I am missing something here and I would be glad if someone can help me ..
Thanks a lot
Michael

Re: Share Access via HTTP
you can specify any share by simply using a slash and the share name. For example http://youripaddress/share1/ or http://youripaddress/share2/ or http://yourDYNDNShere/share1/
I have my http login authoization set to off or disabled. Then i have my user group specified for each share. All of which are read only except for myself. It asks for login with my readynas set like this, and i couldn't get it to work the other way. When i type in my shares, it prompts for login and asks for the users like inside my network.

Re: Share Access via HTTP
That is what I had thought ... However: It does not work. It does work for my default share which is called "ebook". For this I can use e.g. "http://readynas/ebook/calibre/index.html" and it does correctly display me the web page in my browser. I also have created a mirror of this share with the name "webserver". I have granted everyone the read access right within the share.
If I now try "http://readynas/webserver/calibre/index.html" I only get an Error 404 "The requested URL /webserver/calibre/index.html was not found on this server."
I can access all my shares which I have opened for HTTP access via the URL "http://readynas/webshare/". I get a list of my shares and I can go inside the share and view and download the content. However, that is not the same as it is not acting like a web server and does not display the HTML files in the browser.
So my question is: Is this a configuration problem or is the ReadyNAS Duo V2 really unable to use any share in this way besides the default one?
