Slow X6 after HDD expansion
Hi All
I have a trusty X6 that has been upgraded from 4 x 500GB to 4 x 1TB. This was an expansion and not a rebuild from scratch.
I'm running RAIDiator 4.1.7 and I have noticed a huge drop in my transfer speed (read and write) as well as VERY sluggish Frontview performance. I have rebooted the X6 but with no success.
I was getting around 12 kB/s but I'm now at 5 kB/s.
This is purely speculation but it feels as if the X6 is doing something that is killing its CPU. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Re: Slow X6 after HDD expansion
Hi
Well, two nights of R&R seems to have done the X6 a world of good. I guess there were processes still running that I hadn't counted on.
I'm back to where I was before the upgrade from a throughput perspective so all is well.
Thank you!
