Stuck recovering data from NV+ v1
Hi,
I followed the guide from here: https://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=64206
and here: http://home.bott.ca/webserver/?p=306
I'm using ubuntu 12.04 LTS
everything seemed to work but when I access the file browser it says I don't have permission to see the files, but if I use the terminal I can see them. Can someone figure out what step I messed up?
My drives are from a NV+ v1

Re: Stuck recovering data from NV+ v1
Can't you see mount a USB drive, a network share or something like that and copy the files off using the cp command?

Re: Stuck recovering data from NV+ v1
I got it figured out, I was tired and was using the wrong syntax for cp. Now it's happily chugging away copying everything.
