Users appear but groups don't
Hi
Having joined by NAS NV+ (4.1.8 firmware) to my samba domain controller, I have the users added ok but none of the groups have been added.
Anyone experienced this before and got any suggestions, I am running the sparc samba 3.3.7 update
Thanks
Mike

Re: Users appear but groups don't
Hello Mike,
When in domain mode you shouldn't need to add the users/groups. You should be able to join to the ReadyNAS to the Domain and they automatically be imported. If you are not seeing the groups after the import, it could be a browser issue, it could just not be populated, but it should work, if joined to the domain correctly. Are the permissions not working? Here is a how-to on setting up permissions when in domain mode.

If you continue to have issues I recommend opening a case with support.
