VPN connection problem RN10400
Hello community.
There is RN10400 ReadyNAS in my office connected to a local network and works good. But the issue is when I'm trying to connect to the storage using a home PC with VPN, an error pops up saying something like "You can't connect to VPN".

This is with your company's VPN? Or are you trying to use ReadyCLOUD?
Did you try reaching the web UI? Or just accessing storage with file explorer?

Re: VPN connection problem RN10400
Hello GRANDTELEKOM,
The NAS is in your office and you are trying to connect it when you are home using your home PC. This means the NAS and home PC are not on the same network. You have mentioned that your home PC has a VPN. I have some questions to ask, please see below:
- Are you using VPN software on your home PC to connect to the office network? If so, then this means the office network has a VPN router setup, right?
- You need to make sure the VPN works first, that is by checking if you can ping the VPN router of the office?
- Where exactly do you get the error message? If you can post a screenshot please do. Just cover confidential details such as Internet IP address.
Welcome to the community!
Regards,

Sorry, I don't understand this reply.
Were you using your company's VPN software to access your office?
When you connected, did you see any office computers in the file explorer list?
Could you reach the NAS admin page with https://ipaddress-of-nas/admin (using the actual ip address of the NAS).
