Volume scan failed to run properly
Had an error on the NAS saying my volume was 'unprotected' so I pulled the most recently added disk and re-inserted - it did it's re-scan and told me scan had found errors and to reboot ticking the run full scan option.
I then get an email with a gigantic log included saying that it failed. Great.
How do I attach the log to this post so the more knowledgeable out there can take a peek?
Thanks!
Adam

Re: Volume scan failed to run properly
Maybe you should submit an on-line support request.

Re: Volume scan failed to run properly
I did ... although helpful the response time was lacking in part due to L3 tech support being offshore and it was Chinese new year. End result was me backing everything up to an external 2Gb USB drive that I had to purchase and then rebuilding the array .. took 2 days to do that. Not really great, it's on a final warning or it goes back 🙂
