You have one RAID-1 volume that uses two disks. That gives you protection against a single disk failure.
If you don't want RAID redundancy you can switch to jbod. But there quite a few steps needed.
(a) make a backup of your data
(b) uninstall all your apps
(c) delete the existing volume.
(d) select the first drive and chose JBOD. Call it data
(e) select the second drive and chose JBOD. Pick a different volume name
(f) reinstall the apps
(g) restore your data from the backup you made in (a)
