corrupted pictures
I am using my readynas duo V2 for picture storage (jpeg). I load all my pictures into my WD external HD, and then copy them to my NAS. All pictures are always looking good on my WD, but once they are copied to my NAS, one ore more pictures in almost every folder is corrupted. What happens to the picture is that the lower half changes color and is moved to some cm to the left, while the upper half is flawless.
Anyone having any suggestions / solutions to my problem?
Regards Ingmar Waage

Re: corrupted pictures
I have exactly the same issue. unfortunaltely lost a number of irreplaceable family pictures due to cut/paste.
Will have to use teracopy to verify copies from now on....
Still, a comment from Netgear would be appreciated.

Re: corrupted pictures
How did you copy the data onto the Duo v2? Using a backup job? Some other way?

Re: corrupted pictures
Probably want to call support on that, that is very serious.
I thought 'evan' posted once about a v5.3 issue with CIFS and zero copy, but can't find it with the forum search easily. Not sure if 5.3.8 resolved it or not.
