credential issue

After having issue, I did a factory reset.

Firmware 6.10.5

During setup I fill up my creedentials (new password)

When I try to log in, it goes to the admin page friefly the restart the login prosess in loop.

I tryed different browser with no difference.

When I perform a firmware reset, I can login with the default password no problem.

If I change the password to anything else, i am back to loop again.

I tried to re-install the firmware manualy and it said "unrecognized server error".

I tried previous version with the same result.

I would like to be able to change the password and am worry about not being able to install the firmware manualy.

Now I am waiting for other brain to come with ideas of where next...

Thank you.

Try using Chrome as the browser, and browse to https://nas-ip-address/admin  Use the actual IP address of course (and don't substitute the NAS name).  Also type out https:// explicitly.

There is a hotfix for this issue coming, so if this workaround succeeds you could just continue to use it until the hotfix arrives.
