maybe it has to just compilled with xcode for the iPhone / iPod Touch an it will work?

It would be smarter to have a mobile formatted version not only for iPhone/iTouch but all those "other" devices as well........

Fine with me, but the thing the widget does is let you monitor multiple ReadyNAS devices at one time, which isn't possible in Frontview.

Even so, Frontview needs an overhaul itself, so it uses available screen space on PCs. No doubt an update that helps make Frontview look better on large screens could also be well suited for small screens.

The NAS Widget on the iPhone cut work like the Weather Widget slide to the next NAS.

And the FrontView upgrade cut more modern 😉

i iPhone ReadyNAS App? Anyone? NoOne?

Guys just like the ReadyNAS Remote software, using the "cloud" the iPhone App cut show off your NAS with all the Stats all Over the world, so you see that everything is still running fine. You see all the conectet User, the transferrate and the CPU Load. You cut also check the FAN speed 😉 I just Love it ----

With NAStouch you can check the state of your ReadyNAS networkstorage, quick und clearly represented with your iPhone or iPod touch. The app gives you a fast overview on the temperatures of the components, the state of the fan or the amount of used data without the need of navigating with your browser.

No need of network configuration! Just tell the app if you want temperature states in degrees fahrenheit or centigrade.

NAStouch is available now in the appstore for Euro 0,79.

System requirements:
iPhone or iPod touch with firmware 2.21 or higher (with access to your local network by WLAN)
Netgear ReadyNAS Storage (with access to your local network)

It would be very nice to have a french translation or to become more feedback on the different ReadyNAS drives (as we haven´t been able to find testers for all devices). We have a little application which listens to the answers of your ReadyNAS, but it will only work on Macs. If someone can help us with an easy test I would be quite happy.

I've been playing with it for a bit also. Still needs a few bugs worked out for larger LANs, but has a lot of promise!

You can also use the iStat Linux Daemon (http://code.google.com/p/istat/) and the iStat application on the iPhone. Looks very good.
