readynas102 not booting webinterface
Hi,
I can access my all my files so the disks are OK, but somehow the webinterface is not working. it redirects me to a page that says the device might be too busy. I've just updated to 6.4.0. the power led keeps blinking and RAIDar shows that the device is still booting (readycloud cannot detect the device).
I've tried resetting and reinstalling the OS, but that does't seem to work as the page loads OS 6.4.0 without any succes.
Any ideas how to solve this? Or is my readynas just broken? 😞

In addition, it seems I can only 'play' my files, but not delete them.

At the "ReadyNAS Network Storage" level here you will see "important updates" on the upper right. There's a link there at the moment:
Have you read through that FAQ?
When you say you can "play but not delete"- how are you accessing files? DLNA? SMB? Some other way?

hi, I'm using SMB to access the files. I've read the FAQ and tried it, but no luck. Maybe I did somethings wrong. I'll try again tomorrow.

Try downloading RAIDar 6.0, and see what status it gives for the NAS

It's in dutch, but it basically says 'no harmful software detected' in green. as for the rest; 2 green checkmarks at my 2 disks. I've retried usb recoverytool, but it doesn't work.

I have set my boot to volume read only, now I'm getting this;
don;t know why, but I can access admin again and it shows that this will take about 4-5 hours. after this I'm going to try and start normally. seeing how that goes.

Do you have a backup of your data?
If not, I would suggest you backup your data as the next step.
Your data volume is very full and you are using snapshots on all your shares.

hi, I have no backup for my data yet because I do not have another HDD that is big enough. Although I do use XRAID. What would be my next step after backing up my data? and is using snapshots a reason for this problem?
