Looking to Upgrade my Network
I currently have a Netgear C7000-100NAS that acts as my cable modem from my ISP Comcast. It has wifi but I have a large house and where it is located isn't the best. I also have an EX7000 acting as an extender, but it isn't enough. I still have deadspots. I also have numerous places where wired access is available throughout the hose.
I'm looking for the best networking option to upgrade my system. I'm willing to upgrade my cable modem, but right now it seems pretty up-to-date. So given that I need a cable modem and I'm using that as my router. What is my best option to get at least 2 Wifi 6 Access points in my house to blanket it with high speed reliable wifi?
There are so many options on netgears sight it is quite frankly confusing. I want great wifi but I don't want to pay extra for a router I've already got and don't need another.
Suggestions?
Thanks,
Chris

Re: Looking to Upgrade my Network
For some more context. I was looking at the EAX80. If I got 2 of them and would they seamlessly work together on one SSID and handoff devices as you roam the house? Or does that roaming only work if one of them is the router?

Re: Looking to Upgrade my Network
I only recommend extenders if you're only needing 1 of them.
If you're needing more than 1 extender, I'd move to a full mesh system like orbi.
Depending on what your speeds/needs are you could go with a Orbi AC system or if you wanted the latest/greatest (not always true) then you could look at orbi AX.
You'd be able to put the C7000 in modem only mode and run the orbi directly off it.
It'd be more seemless, better coverage, and have the ability to add satellites as needed to provide the coverage you need.
