I have uninstalled and reinstalled but keep coming up with same issues. HELP!!!SolvedCannot Find Transmission Folders and downloaded files
Hello all, I have just finished setting up my ReadyNas 10400. I installed Transmission 2.82 (the one availalbe in the Netgear Apps Catalogue) and so far I have been able to download Torrents with it. However, as soon as the Downlaods are compelted, I cannot find the default fodler where the files are in my ReadyNass and no Idea how to access them... i have the files in my readynas, but I cannot find them anywhere. I have tried to use the Transmission Remote GUI but, when I enter the ReadyNass IP address, User and OPassword, i receive the error that the "host refused connection" I am using the same username and password that the Transmission webpage asks me when I lunch Transmission bt it doesn't work. Can anyone help me? Thank youSolvedReadyNas Remote Can't see shares
I have a ReadyNas Pro 6 running the most current firmware and the most current version of the Remote plugin. Initially, it was working fine and I could access my shares remotely. Now, I can connect to the NAS and I can even access the remote admin and the readydrop folder, but no shares from the NAS show up when I try to browse it. When I chose Open Folder-->NAS from the Remote menu, it just brings up an explorer window of My Documents (local) which is the parent folder for the readydrop folder. I'm on a laptop running windows 7 x64. Now on my wife's comp, a Mac, I can run readynas remote and access the shares no problem, using the same user settings and everything, so it's not a permissions issue. Does anyone know why I can't get the shares to show up on my windows machine?Every Folder Has An ".AppleDouble" Folder in it
I Am running ReadyNAS Remote version 1.5.8 for iOS and Radiator version 5.8.3 (arm) on my ReadyNAS NV+v2, and recently on my iPhone I am seeing ".AppleDouble" folders appear in every subfolder within the "Media" share. The top level folder also has ".AppleDB" and an ".AppleDesktop" folder. I have deleted the app from the iPhone and reinstalled it, but that did not solve the issue. If I use ReadyNAS Remote for Mac or Windows, these folders are not visible. If I connect to the shares on my local network I don't see the folders either. If I connect directly to the NAS using Dashboard I do not see the folders unless I check show hidden files & folders. Does anyone have a clue why these folders are showing and how to stop them from showing.Leaf Network Adapter No Internet Connection
I installed ReadyNAS Remote 1.6.5.22 on my windows 7 x64 machine with Microsoft Security Essentials and no firewall. I received the "Probably you have an issue with Leaf Networks Adapter network adapter. You might resolve this issue..." However the leaf network adapter did appear in my ipconfig setup and was an enabled network connection in the windows control panel. I logged into Remote without issue but cannot see my device. I uninstalled and reinstalled ReadyNAS remote, nothing changed. I then made sure there was no default gateway set, there wasn't, and manually configured IP4 settings to 5.0.0.3. Nothing changed. I also added the ReadyNASRemote.exe to excluded processes in Microsoft Security Essentials. Rebooted and disabled/enabled network adapter . The Leaf Network adapter still says "No Network Access" for IPv4 Connectivity under adapter properties. Any other ideas what may be wrong?RND2110 not able to create readynas remote account
Hi guys, I'm trying to setup an RND2110. The ReadyNAS Remote addon is installed, but when I go to create an account and send a confirmation email, it never sends (I've tried 3 different email domains). I was able to get readynas through a download link online but not sure how I can get it associated with this particular NAS device if I can't get the confirmation email/account setup. Tried following the manual, but there wasn't much more info there. Please help :)ReadyNas Remote Windows software download?
Hello, I am having "vintage" ReadyNAS Ultra 4. Successfully updated to RAIDiator 4.2.27 (x86). Installed ReadyNAS remote Add-on v1.0.9.78 in Running state. Managed to create X-RAID2 with 4 disk. So far so good. Now I am trying to access it from remote location with my Windows 7 machine. Created username/password in remote.readynas.com. Found a iPhone app that connects to the NAS. But when I try to find Windows client software there is no luck. Official download client is: ReadyNAS Remote for Windows (v1.6.5.23) Link is: https://readycloud.netgear.com/install/ReadyNASRemoteSetup_w7_v1.6.5.23.exe but now is redirected to ReadyCloud page. Please, tell me where to find this software. Tried to find it archived in Netgear FTP and Google but no luck :(Remote/Replicate is currently unreliable
Over the last few weeks, I have found that Replicate and Remote are unreliable. Regularly Replicate will fail to run because either the source or the destination will not connect even though they are on the same LAN and both appear, with full information in the network window on Replicate.readynas.com (V1 Pro to NVX Business - both with 4.2.22 firmware and Replicate 1.1.5 and Remote 1.0.9.78.) I also have problems with ReadyNAS Remote running from Windows 7 64 bit (Client 1.6.5.18). The client is happily running but the ReadyNAS devices (Pro and NVX) are said to be offline. I also have limited if no success from either the New iPad or iPhone 4S (both on iOS 6.0) and running 1.3.7. Replicate and Remote (both from PC and my iOS devices) used to work without fail. Now I cannot count on it working which means they are currently almost useless. The only positive thing is that My Duo (v1) (firmware 4.1.10) running Remote 1.0.9.78 is at least online. I thought there was a possibility the server end was down - but doubt this is the case as my Duo (v1) (firmware 4.1.10) running Remote 1.0.9.78 is at least online. I have to suspect that Replicate 1.1.5 and the Remote Client 1.6.5.18 are not as robust as they used to be. Look forward to getting some reliability back into the system.
