Hi, like many others, I have run out of space in my cloud storage on my Meural II. I like the cloud interface - it’s super buggy, but I like that I can just select photos from my phone and send them to the Meural instantly vs download. However, I need more space. I know that there is an SD card option. Is there a way to use both the cloud and the SD card? Or do I have to use one or the other? I currently use the scheduler option to have different playlists show at different times of day (ie. “travel” plays from 2pm - 4pm on Friday but from 10am-noon on Saturday - i do this with 5 playlists and rotate them so I see different photos all the time). I have 2 questions : is there a way to integrate the SD card and the cloud so that I can see photos from playlists on both? Or do I have to go all in on SD card to really make it work? Can i have rotating playlists from the SD card? Or do they just play in order - playlist1 (image 1 - 100 in order), then playlist2 (image 1 - 100 in order) and so on? the SD card is just way less convenient for taking a photo and adding it same day. I have had my Canvas II for over a year and have loved the Canvas despite many challenges figuring out how to use the app. My most recent challenge, how do I upload Meural membership art work to my 20G cloud storage? Seems I can only upload personal photos from my PC. Need help to get Meural art works onto the cloud storage. Thanks for help from anyone that has figured this out. Hello, My Canvas II is unable to connect back to the server. The last sync as 7.22.2025. The server status is offline, but my wifi is connected with IP Address. The software version is 2.3.2_3.0.3. Hello I'm using the Canvas for a couple of weeks, and think the current implementation is still quite buggy, limited ;( There are some tweaks still requiring the Netgear cloud, and I'm afraid that will eventually stop. Would it be possible for netgeear to investigate the option to opensource the OS to allow others to develop on it, without Netgear's cloud? Allow HDMI e.g. Google chromes cast , or add casting and other standard featurs in it ? My meural has been working more or less flawlessly for years, and for the first time in well over a year I added some more photos to the library to be displayed, which worked okay, then a day or so later, the Meural just had a black screen, and now doesn't boot up or respond at all Not sure what I can do to troubleshoot this. I tried the factory reset, but still just a blank screen on power up. I have a Meural screen that was working beautifully up until a this past week when it went black. I have tried all the suggestions: unplugged, factory reset, uninstall app, factory reset again, plugged directly to my router, etc. Nothing fixes it. When it powers on each time, I see the Meural (Powered by Netgear) start screen, and then it goes black and is unresponsive. I spent almost an hour talking to customer service. They refuse to escalate unless I purchase a Technical support contract from Netgear. That is not acceptable. This is a known issue with the Meural Canvas products. I see hundreds of similar issues posted online. Their only solution is for me to purchase another product so that I can own a second black screened device in another year. Hi, I've got a couple of Netgear Meurals and they're lovely. But, one of them is now just showing a Meural logo and then, after that, it just goes blank. I've done a hard reset on the unit (put the power on whilst pressing the Reset button for 20 seconds) but still nothing. I know the unit's receiving power and the screen's working because the logo comes up but I don't know what's happening after that. Reading about the problem, it does seem quite common but, has anyone had this problem and managed to fix it? Could it be that I need a different power supply? Could a chip need replacing inside the unit? Is there anyone in the UK that could look at the unit for me? Good evening, Our NETGEAR Meural Canvas II has not been working for almost a year and a half now, and I have tried everything, unfortunately without success. The problem: I suspect it started when we switched to a different internet provider. Since then, the Canvas has been unable to connect, and I can no longer find it in the Meural app. I have tried everything, including a factory reset, but unfortunately to no avail. When I turn on the Meural, it remains stuck on the start screen and I can’t swipe across the screen. The QR code is also not visible, although I do have the product code. In the app, the Meural appears as offline, and when I try to reset the Wi-Fi through the app, it shows a strange Wi-Fi network and then gives the error message seen in the screenshot. I once spoke to someone from customer service by phone, but they were not helpful. I understand that my warranty has expired, but even when I offered to pay for support, the answer was still no.
