Cable Modem for Xfinity (August 2025)
Xfinity identifies the following older Netgear modems as compatible for my location: Netgear CM1100 Netgear CM2000. (I do not require Voice or WiFi in the modem.) Seeking recommendations for whether I should purchase the newest available Netgear modem or should I seek one of these older models? Just a question if the Netgear CM2000 is EOL now? I am only using it right now as I dont know when Xfinity will roll out mid split. Once they get it going in my neighborhood I will get the CM3000. Another question is should I not expect any more firmware updates for it?Solved162Views0likes2Comments
