Engage Onboarding Issue
We have 15 M4250 switches running our AV network. Recently, we realized two of those switches were assigned the same IP. Because of this, only one of the devices was showing on the Engage Dashboard. We did a hard reset on one of the switches (the one that was showing) so that we could assign it a new IP. Now the one switch that I reset will not show in Engage. I went through the Main UI to assign it a new IP address and when entering that IP into "Add Device" on Engage, I'm met with the message that the "device is already onboarded". How can I clear it from onboarding so I can set it up as a new device? Or at the very least, get it to show in Engage?

Hello, I am looking for a Layer‑3 switch from NETGEAR with the following specifications: 24 ports of 1 Gbps copper RJ‑45 (non‑PoE) 2 ports of 10 Gbps copper & 4 ports of 10 Gbps SFP+ uplinks Full Layer‑3 routing features (static routing, inter‑VLAN routing, etc.) I previously used the GSM4328S, but I understand that it has been declared End‑of‑Life (EoL). Could you please advise if NETGEAR currently offers a model that matches or closely matches the above requirements? Dear All! I tried to start to monitor my netgear switches, and on the server i choosed the built in netgate template. Works fine expected two things, the psu and the fan recognize is false, found a few threads about this but no solution. At mapping i see this: The switch default state is two, so thats noot good, and if i try to snmpwalk th oid i get only 1 and 2 for value if im doing it good. The fan state is fan 0: 1.3.6.1.4.1.4526.10.43.1.6.1.3.1.0 and gets 2 what is fault in the value, but cannot figure out what is the correct value. Now to solve the problem in the mapping i switch operational and failed value, and in the macro set the fault to 1, now its reports okay but im not sure its 100% will work when i have a fan error. PSU the problem i have is the psu0 has problem and i dont know why.(M4300) Couldn't connect to emWeb, socket failed, 2 No such file or directory
I have a two switch stack of M4300-16x on firmware 12.0.19.12. I am unable to SSH into the stack. I get: Couldn't connect to emWeb, socket failed, 2 No such file or directory Disconnected from <IP> port 22 Things I've tried: Rebooted the stack Disabled SSH Regenerated RSA/DSA keys Enabled SSH Any ideas on how to fix?M4350 core duo, stack & dante AES67.
Hello everyone. We want to secure our audio infrastructure (private lan) by creating redundancy at the level of the two M4350-12X12F core switches, which are responsible for managing and distributing the other M4300-52G switches, linked to dante and green go devices. We have set up four VLANs, including one for Dante (which will need to support AES67 in the future). What i found on documentation : It seems inadvisable to create a stack of two core switches when using Dante AES67, and it does not appear possible to create an MLAG for the M4350 versions. What is the best solution for creating redundancy at the level of my two M4350 core switches? Is it the implementation of a VRRP for the VLAN IP addresses? Thank you for your feedback. I can't connect to a ProSafe switch at all because the Netgear Discovery Tool will not allow me to select a connection to scan. On top of that, the default IP of the switch is not 192.168.0.329 (even after factory reset) and the ProSAFE Plus Utility doesn't run no matter how I try to engage it. Windows 11, for what it's worth (I saw the .NET 4.6 install req on the PPU, but that won't install because it says I have a newer version already).Hilfe bei VLAN Konfig.
Hallo, ich bin neu im Umgang mit Netgear Switchen und VLANs. Ich habe mir auf anraten ein Freundes einen GS110TPV3 geholt, da ich die vorher die V1 davon hatte, dieser aber jetzt anfängt ab zu stürzen. Nun wollte ich die alte Konfiguration einfach wieder einspielen, da dort VLAN definiert waren die mir ein Bekannter eingerichtet hatte. Geht leider, nicht da es schon eine ganz andere Oberfläche hat und darunter sich auch alles geändert hat. Ich habe nun versucht anhand der alten Konfiguration was hin zu bekommen, doch ich komme mit dieser bunten Oberfläche und den Einstellungen nicht klar. Kann mir da mal jemand helfen? Danke schon im voraus. Die Konfiguration des alten Switches: VLAN1: PN Port 1,2 tagged / 3,4,5,6,7 untagged VLAN2: GAST Port 1,2 tagged / 8 untaggedGSM4328S spuriously after powering up, shows power led amber on, and stucks
M4300 (GSM4328S) spuriously after powering up, shows power led amber on, and stucks. Need to disconnect and connect again power supply, and then works. I don't know if someone is experiencing this issue. Maybe is a hardware issue. We are using lots of those switches for several different projects in our company, and we are experiencing in the last purchased units (more than 20) this upsetting issue. We don't know how we can diagnose the problem. Anyone could help us?
