9 TopicsPossible to use both cloud and SD storage?
Hi, like many others, I have run out of space in my cloud storage on my Meural II. I like the cloud interface - it’s super buggy, but I like that I can just select photos from my phone and send them to the Meural instantly vs download. However, I need more space. I know that there is an SD card option. Is there a way to use both the cloud and the SD card? Or do I have to use one or the other? I currently use the scheduler option to have different playlists show at different times of day (ie. “travel” plays from 2pm - 4pm on Friday but from 10am-noon on Saturday - i do this with 5 playlists and rotate them so I see different photos all the time). I have 2 questions : is there a way to integrate the SD card and the cloud so that I can see photos from playlists on both? Or do I have to go all in on SD card to really make it work? Can i have rotating playlists from the SD card? Or do they just play in order - playlist1 (image 1 - 100 in order), then playlist2 (image 1 - 100 in order) and so on? the SD card is just way less convenient for taking a photo and adding it same day. Hello, My Canvas II is unable to connect back to the server. The last sync as 7.22.2025. The server status is offline, but my wifi is connected with IP Address. The software version is 2.3.2_3.0.3. I have contacted customer support numerous times, yet have yet to receive a satisfactory resolution. Hello I'm using the Canvas for a couple of weeks, and think the current implementation is still quite buggy, limited ;( There are some tweaks still requiring the Netgear cloud, and I'm afraid that will eventually stop. Would it be possible for netgeear to investigate the option to opensource the OS to allow others to develop on it, without Netgear's cloud? Allow HDMI e.g. Google chromes cast , or add casting and other standard featurs in it ? I have annual membership. My I cloud storage shows 12.8 GB remaining. Frame is MC227 When I signed onto my PC at my.meural.netgear.com I see my photos and a mark on the picture “ On Meural “. The problem is when I click on a picture that I want to send I get a message “ failed, your canvas out of space”. I did confirm that free space is 0 storage . But if I go to + sign (;upper right )and click upload it opens up a screen with files to upload and I click on Photos and up comes my Library. Once there I select pictures and they are sent to Meural. How can this be ? If the 4gb on Meural is full why can’t I cloud storage fill in? Also, When I use my I phone or I pad to access the Meural I see many linked albums and other groups ( does not say linked). CAN you clarify? Hi, I've got a couple of Netgear Meurals and they're lovely. But, one of them is now just showing a Meural logo and then, after that, it just goes blank. I've done a hard reset on the unit (put the power on whilst pressing the Reset button for 20 seconds) but still nothing. I know the unit's receiving power and the screen's working because the logo comes up but I don't know what's happening after that. Reading about the problem, it does seem quite common but, has anyone had this problem and managed to fix it? Could it be that I need a different power supply? Could a chip need replacing inside the unit? Is there anyone in the UK that could look at the unit for me? Netgear won't replace the unit as it's out of warranty so any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you. Ron284Views0likes4Comments
