7 TopicsReadyshare stopped recognizing any USB drives
I had not used my 500GB external hard drive in a long while but recently tried to access it and Readyshare portal says "no USB drive" so I tried connecting a small USB drive and it still says "no usb" drive. At first I had thought the 500GB SSD went bad but when the smaller flash drive gave the same results it makes me think there is a problem with the Rax50 itself. I tried rebooting but still the same results. What might be the usual reasons why Readyshare previously showed my USB drive and now stopped showing it or any other USB drive ? Is it me or do new versions of firmware generally have a higher version number than the previous version. Was out on the RAX50V2 support page this morning. A new version of the firmware has been released (1.1.3.6). However, the prior version that I have currently installed is 1.1.4.28. Mistake?5ghz auto changes channel
I been having issues with my router changing the 5ghz channel from 40 to another channel like 149 or 161. This is happening on a RAX50 router and there is no option for auto channel for 5ghz, only 2.4ghz. I want to keep the channel at 40 because it is the least congested channel around me and the other channels makes wifi signal weak in some areas in my home. Does anyone know why this is happening and what can I do to fix it? I don't have it on a DFS channel and I can't find anything else to fix it. Thanks!SolvedMy rax50 says internet connection is good. I have checked all my cable connections. I have called my ISP to make sure there are no issues with my fttp connection. I have made sure the router is successfully connected to my ISP by making sure it's connected using the PPPoE login connection details. My router even states internet connection is 'GOOD'. But my wifi and cable connections to devices are still not working. My wifi states "connected but no internet access" even tho the router says internet access is fine. I've contacted Netgear support but they were absolutely useless unless I paid for 12 months of support for the price of a whole new router. Can anyone help me please?
