Found on the routers and RBS IP address/debug.htm web page for best details, please post both RBR and RBS uptime. Please note of any inconsistencies between the RBR and RBS. Generally the RBR and RBS uptime should be same. Home wide power brown outs should be noted if these are seen. Thank you.RBK352 WLAN probleme seit 2 Monaten
Seit einigen Wochen nahezu täglich jeweils 5 Minuten WLAN-Ausfall. Vodafone seitig keine Störung vorhanden, Modem neu getauscht.
SolvedWhere is the new v.7 firmware for RBS350
I have an RBR750 with 2 RBS350, I see the lastest firmware for the RBR is 7.2.7.15. It took me some time but the last time I upgraded my router to 7.2.6.31, I was able to find the RBS350 firmware of the same version. Now that this new release is out the netgear website only shows firmware version 4x for the RBS350, yet your compatibility matrix says the RBS is compatible with the RBR750. If I recall best practice is to have the router and satellites on the same version. So where is the new version firmware for the RBS350?SolvedCan't Login with Admin Credentials
Can somebody please help me? I'm trying to set up my Orbi RBR350 and I've followed all the prompts in the app until I've arrived at the screen asking me to Login with my admin credentials. It asks me to input a password and has the message "Default is password" so I enter "password" into the section but it says its incorrect. When I try to reset my password, according to the instructions, it leads me to a help page which then sends me to a bunch of links that do not assist me in resetting my password. It says to access either www.orbilogin.com or http://www.orbilogin.net but both of these links just send me to pages prompting me to download the app, pointless for this situation. I feel like I'm going round and round in circles. Of course netgear can't help me so I'm left to post a message on this community. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I have tried enterring my Network password, and my Netgear Account password but neither worked.SolvedSonos and Chromecast wGTV connecting to 2.4g
Hi, I've read reams of similar problems but no solutions seem to work / fit. I have an Orbi RBR350 V4.20.0.4_3.100.71. Currently 3 laptops, 3 phones, a cat feeder, a Sonos One Gen 2 and a Chromecast with Google TV connected. The Chromecast and the Sonos both insist on connecting to 2.4GHz, phones and laptops are on 5GHz. This means I can't cast from phone or laptop to these media pllaers as the phone etc can't "see" them. I have turned 2.4GHz down to 25%, doesn't appear to be an option to turn it off, and ideally I would prefer not to as the cat feeder is 2.4 only. The Ccwgtv is less than 1 metre from the Orbi, the Sonos is across the room, approx 4m in line of sight. Any ideas how to force these two devices onto 5GHz/. ThanksHelp: RBS350 WiFi forwarding performance issue
I am currently using an Orbi RBK352 mesh system, and I've noticed that the WiFi performance of the RBS350 satellite is exceptionally weak. I conducted network speed tests using iPerf3. My server is a desktop PC with an X870 motherboard, consistently connected to the RBS350 satellite via an Ethernet cable, with a reported port speed of 1200Mbps. My client is an Intel Ultra9 185H laptop, which shows an aggregated wireless link speed of 1081/865 Mbps. When the client is connected to the RBS350 via WiFi, iPerf3 tests to the server consistently show bidirectional average speeds not exceeding 200Mbps. Internet upload and download speeds, tested via Speedtest, both cap at 100Mbps (my internet connection is 300Mbps downstream, 100Mbps upstream). When the client is connected to the RBR350 (main router) via Ethernet, and the server is connected to the RBS350 via Ethernet, bidirectional average speeds for the dedicated wireless backhaul test reached 500Mbps. This strongly suggests that the wireless backhaul functionality itself is working correctly. When the client is connected to the RBS350 via Ethernet, iPerf3 tests show bidirectional average speeds of 900Mbps, which indicates that the wired functionality of the RBS350 is not an issue. However, when connecting solely via WiFi to the RBS350, regardless of whether the traffic requires wireless backhaul (like internet access) or is for local forwarding that should not require backhaul, the peak speed only reaches 200Mbps, with an average of just 120Mbps. I consider this to be an abnormally low figure.
