A6100 takes a few minutes after start up to connect to internet.
I use an A6100 mini wifi adaptor and once the computer is booted up it says im connected to the internet but if i go to chrome it says no internet connection and it takes a good 2-3 minutes after boot for me to be able to use the internet. in the settings I have it enebled on start up, i have the latest driver, and its installed on my SSD. i tried re installing the adaptor and the drivers but no luck.can't get netgear n900 dual usb adapter working properly
I have been trying to get this adapter working properly on my laptop but it keeps disconnecting randomly on this laptop only. I have tried it on other computers and it doesn't do this. i have updated all the drivers but i still can't figure out what is wrong if anyone knows what might be causing this problem please helpNetgear WNDA4100 N900 Frequently Disconnects
Hello, I have Window 8.1. I use The Netgear WNDA4100 N900 Adapter. It frequently disconnects and looses its signal. All other wifi devices in the house run well. My computer is the only one that cannot stay on the internet. Is there any help that can be given for this? I am very frustrated. I am constantly removing the plug from the USB port and plugging it back in, to connect to the signal. I have used multiple USB ports and the same issue happens. Every time my Netgear WNDA3100V3 USB WIFI adapter disconnects and then reconnects to the internet, my computer shuts down and displays the BSOD (blue screen of death) that says the stop code. "Kernel Security Check Error" and tells me to go to windows.com/stopcode and find an answer? Well I have uninstalled and reinstalled and made sure my computer and the adapter are updated. I'm about at my wits end with this USB adapter, for the last number of days since I picked it up. Pretty much from day 1 it's been randomly disconnecting from my internet, it's still connected to my usb but it refuses to connect to any wifi signal, unplugging it doesn't work, resetting my computer doesn't work, and when it does it lasts about a whole 5 minutes before it's back to square one. I've uninstalled everything for it then reinstalled it. I've used the cd download, and the download on this website but still nothing is working. I'm running on windows 10 and see a lot of these problems come from people using windows 10. Is there any fix for this? These things aren't cheap and to have it not work is infuriating. For the past few months I've been using the Netgear A6210 adapter and have had the ongoing problem of it disconnecting from devices. I first purchased the adapter back in September for my laptop (running Windows 10) so I could take advantage of my home's 5ghz network. After persistent disconnect issues I went through the struggle of trying numerous drivers (including the one here), uninstalling/reinstalling the Netgear Genie software, and changing my laptops power settings until I was finally able to get it to stop. I recently built a PC and am now having the same disconnect issue. I feel like I have tried everthing again at this point, but am open to suggestions for fixing the problem. Maybe I'm missing something? The adapter works great when it decides it wants to though. If it weren't for these driver/disconnect issues I would be totally satisfied.
