GS108Tv2 no PoE
Hello,
with the first Port I do not get any power over the port to an access point. With other switches of the series I get the power.
With a PoE injector it works to. Firmware is the newst 5.4.2.22.
Do I have to configure something?
Greetings
Tim

Hi TWART016,
Welcome to the community! :)
The GS108Tv2 is a powered device (PD) and its not a power sourcing equipment (PSE). It can be powered on either by a device that is IEEE 802.3af compliant (PSE) via port 1 or by using the external power adapter that came with it. Since the GS108Tv2 is a powered device (PD), you cannot use it to power on access point via its ethernet ports.
I recommend you the GS110TP switch because it is a power sourcing equipment (PSE) that complies to the IEEE 802.3af standard. It has 8 PoE ethernet ports and you can use this switch to power on up to 8 powered devices such as access points.
