Netgear JGS516PE Firmware 2.0.0.31 Upgrade
I have a switch in need of firmware upgrade currently 2.0.0.31 to 2.6.0.48 but, I can not login to GUI but, the discovery tool sees the device. I can use the prosafe plus utility 2.7.8 but, I can only touch IP to and from DHCP. I there a process I can use to update the firmware? IS there some way to load this .bin file?
- Typical reasons are different IP addresses from inconsistent IP subnetworks, and host security prohibiting tftp access.
With the known password, and assuming the same IP subnet, you can use a web browser instead. Much less hassle.

I have been able to get to the firmware update section but, now I am getting a "TFTP - Time Out". I have tried multiple times and I am plugged directly to the switch.
