Assign SXK30 Phillips Hue ethernet to a specific wifi network

Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the Orbi Pro products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with Orbi Pro and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this router forum. Probably best addressed by Phillips.

 

Heaven only knows why anyone would use their boilerplate text to tell you to post in the Orbi section. I see no hint that you are using an Orbi device. Maybe you are using a Nighthawk router.

 

In any case, asking that question somewhere else isn't likely to get a different answer. This is a generic question that applies to any router with a guest network.

 

Can you reset the Hue and set it up from scratch?

You're using the SXK30?

The SXK30 has an IoT network as part of its multiple ssid's for the pro line. You can simply enable that ssid and migrate the hue over to it. 

And you should be able to assign one of the vlan's for the ethernet connection to a hue hub that works with the IoT ssid. 

Is that what you're asking? or what issue are you running into setting it up.
