Have to constantly forget and rejoin network
Hi - I have an Orbi 6 RBR850 and two RBS850 satellites. All was working fine until I moved home (kept the same SSID / Password etc.). Now whenever I move a device in the house and it needs to switch from one router / satellite to another it permanently tries to connect to the network. The only solution is to forget my network and then reconnect to it then everything works fine. This happens on Mac, iPhone and iPad (all with latest OS). Any ideas?

Running in bridge (modem only) mode?
Did you reset and reconfigure everything when you moved?

How far apart are these Orbi units in the new home?

No further than previous - plus I have hardwired the satellites in the new home as well as it has ethernet. The orbi app successfully shows them as being wired connection.
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too? What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router 📡 and satellite(s)🛰️? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR 📡 and RBS 🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.

Be sure to disable any MAC Address randomizers on phones and pads while at home:

Thanks. Firmware is V7.2.7.15.
It's Virgin Media's hub 4 - brought the same modem with us when we moved
~2,500 Sq ft
They're more than 30ft apart and wired
We do use Private Relay on iCloud so will switch that off and see if it helps

When a network "acts differently", it is often useful to know what changed?
- It is the same Orbi router and two satellites.
- The WiFi SSID/password remain the same.
- Is it the same ISP?
- Was a new setup performed, or were the router and satellites just "plugged in".
- Has the Orbi firmware been updated?
- Are any other devices behaving differently?

Everything the same except I wired the satellites as the house has ethernet cabling. I'll try as wireless and see if that helps.
Yes, but did you reset and setup the network to work with the new location?

That is an important question. If you haven't done that already, reset and reconfigure the network and then change the SSID / Password to your preferred settings.

Wired should be better.

Meant router and satellites

Reset everything and switched to modem mode seems to have worked! Thanks all
Glad you got it working. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
