NAS is offline on ReadyCloud, with new migrated account to MyNetgear; and firmware 6.5.0
Hello Netgear Community, doubble trouble....
- NAS RN102 permanently offline on ReadyCloud,
- New migrated "MyNetgear" Account, forced product registration,
- but, product Serial Number is refused for registeration on the account !!!
- I Followed the migration email recommendation to also upgrade the NAS firmware to 6.5.0
- NAS Admin page on LAN 192.168.0.12/admin : Internet service (OK) Services Online (X)
- Ready cloud Button app ON ...
Since I have migrated account from old to new "MyNetgear" together with firmware 6.5.0 update,
NAS is permanently offline, despite all attemps of resets in the LAN Admin menus / tabs Cloud and Accounts. Internet service shows (OK) but Services Online still shows (X)
My NAS 102 seems really wasted after less than 2 years of use, really sad, if anyone can help?
Much Appreciated Guys,
Fabrice
Hi JennC,
Yes I understand and I made the migration properly, at least I thought I did. I did everything all over again and then I got connected again. I am not sure that this actually was the problem that solved the case but I am happy for having my NAS-connection up and running again.
Thanks for all help :-)

But, once you get in it smokes the past interface, by that I mean it loads your data, pictures, videos, etc etc,.....

Same problem here, cant connect through readycloud. I use it for PLEX and that still works but just cant get into the nas to change things via Readycloud since upgrading and migrating.

Hello fabsfabs,
Make sure your ReadyNAS is getting on the Internet. The Services Offline indicates that it is not getting on the Internet.
The registration of the SN has nothing to do with the ReadyCloud access. You should still be able to use ReadyCloud and your ReadyNAS without even a registered product. When you create or upgrade to a myNetgear account, this is the same account you will use to login to the readycloud.netgear.com, it should be in an email format. The upgraded ReadyCloud account (which is now a myNetgear account) that you enter in the ReadyCloud feature of the admin page > Cloud should be in an email format too. So it you are already using the ReadyCloud before the upgrade, you need to upgrade your ReadyCloud account too,
Welcome to the community!
