readynas 102 raid crash
readynas102 it was raided, one drive failed. A new drive was inserted but nothing was recovered and the working drive was not accessible, I made the recovery USB (many times) eventually it turned off. On reboot I can see both drives, the new drive is accessible, the second with the date on is seen but not accessible, i can see the volume of data but cannot open the drive. I removed the drive, docked it but the PC is not seeing the drive. How do i "un-lock" the drive or re-raid it in the readynas 102? I cannot afford to format and loose this data. I have reclaime installed but as the dock is not recognising the drive it cannot be used ..any help?

While windows won't mount the drive, reclaime should be able to see it. You should also be able to see it in the Windows disk manager.
If that isn't working, then you either have a failed dock or a second failed drive.

You should have had access to the files even when the drive that failed was pulled out. Are you saying that was not the case?
Also, were you running X-RAID or RAID-1? Or were you running RAID-0 with FlexRAID???

Can you download the log file zip from the logs page?
Also post a screenshot of what you are seeing on the volume page.

Don't post them publicly.
If you like, you can put the entire zip into cloud storage (Dropbox, Google Drive, etc). Then send me a private message (PM) using the envelope icon in the upper right of the forum page. Include a link to the log zip - making sure the link permissions are set so anyone with the link can download.

the original set-up was x-raid, i did attempt to change it to flex,
If you did that after the drive failure, then that was a mistake.

the original set-up was x-raid, i did attempt to change it to flex, the damaged drive has limited options when highlighted
