The qbittorent included in the readynas distribution is quite old (2.9.8-1) and buggy. It appears there are newer compatible ubuntu built distributions available. For example, see here: http://www.tecmint.com/install-qbittorr ... -in-linux/.I installed add-apt-repository and of course it doesn't work on os6 because of the netgear damaged ca-certificates package. Has anyone gotten a newer version of qbittorrent running on OS6 and could you share instructions?steve

I finally got it working again. qBittorrent 1.0.3. Through ssh i ran apt-get purge qbittorrent-nox. Then re-installed from Admin-GUI :neener: :neener: :neener:I CAN'T UNDERSTAND HOW I COULD MISS SUCH A BASIC THINGanyway.....I'm back and satisfied running qBittorrent insted of transmission on my RN104 unit

Do you mean for wheezy or ever? I see other builds of qbitorrent-nox on newer distributions. That link in my first message seems to indicate that there are new PPA builds that will work on Debian 7 available. but maybe they don't have qbittorrent-nox?thankssteve

I got off my butt and set up a build environment in a virtualbox and was able to build v3.1.12 fine. I installed super's addon and then dropped libtorrent-rasterbar.so.7 into /usr/lib and updated qbittorrent-nox. Those two files were all that was needed and it runs fine.steve

Actually, we can only add trackers.

uTorrent is slightly unstable on the long run. Sometimes torrents are not resumed on restart, sometimes it refuses to add torrents and it can be slow to request seeds/peers from tracker. Qbittorrent doesn't suffer from these issues

Hello I installed qbittorrentr6_3.3.0_armel.deb from the dropbox folder but I can no longer log into the web ui. I have tried the default password of admin and adminadmin also my previous credentials but I just can't get it to work. It seems to be running fine. I have SSH access is there any files I can edit to remove the password or change it?

the .config/qBittorrent/qBittorrent.conf file is empty.
I would be greatful for any help to get this working thanks

    .deb is for OS 6, not OS 4.2. there's a TransmissionBT add-on available from WhoChares for the Pro (with a small charge) at rnxtras.com
    
    I don't recall seeing any references to a qbittorrent add-on packaged for 4.2.x firmware.

Yeh. Thats the app store version. Hasnt worked for a few fw updates now. How to i load the new versions manually? I have a rn102 with newest fw update. When i open qbittorrent it opens and it all seems to be working. Apart from adding torrents. Nothing shows up anywhere after i add them
