Remote Upload Internal Error
I can upload photos no problem, but my family is unable to. When they try they get an "Internal Error" message. Can anyone help, or even give an idea how to trouble shoot?
Thanks for your time,
Tony

- preumbraAspirantMore Info, I happened to witness one. Error Message:
Internal Error: Please Login again and report
[ioErrorEvent type = "ioError" bubbles = false concelable = false eventPhase=2 test="Error #2038"]
Anybody have any clue on this? - yoh-dahGuideWhat Photos II version are you using? Also, please specify browser, OS platform (Win/Mac), and sample file names you're trying to upload.
- spaced_outAspirantI have the same issue, installed Photos II last night and cannot upload multiple photos at once.
If each item is uploaded individually, it is fine, but bulk uploads fail on the second photo each time. This is using the web interface though, not a remote upload tool.
This is the error:
Internal Error! Please login again and report:
[IOErrorEvent type="ioError" bubbles=false cancelable=false eventPhase=2 text="Error #2038"]
EDIT: This is using Safari on OS X Lion. When I used Chrome just now, it worked fine. Still does not work with more than one file to upload on Safari, every time. At least I have Chrome as a workaround but would be nice not to have a separate browser just for this. - preumbraAspirantThis has become more of an intermittent error for me. When this occurs I just retry, and it works. More info as requested:
-Photos II version 1.0.2
-Seen on windows7/firefox, windows7/ie
-during error uploading *.jpg - yoh-dahGuide

Can you try updating to 1.0.4? - spaced_outAspirantI am running 1.0.4 already (fyi)
- r2_d21TutorHi,
We tried to re-produce in our lab, but cannot see the problem.
The error message posted here is from Flash player, and indicating network communication error.
Can you check Flash Player version? You can check by "right-click" on PhotosII main page (not login page), and select "About Flash Player".
Our test system use following version.
OSX/Safai: Flash Version 10.2.152.33
Win7/Firefox6: Flash Version 10.2.183.7 - preumbraAspirantThank r2-d2 for the reply.
On the windows7/firefox setup the flashplayer version is 10.3.181.6, it is the same on the win7/IE which is the same computer.
I do not have reliable data from the other folks because they are on the other side of the country, and are barely computer literate.
For the 2 times I have personally witnessed this event I was on my laptop, which has a wireless connection. So networks hiccups would not be surprising there. Again, unfortunately I can not even confirm the error the other folks have seen let alone the configuration, the only info they tell me is "internal error". However upon retries it seems to work for them as well.
The frequency of this has been tolerable, so I am willing to chalk this up to wireless network hiccups for now - until it proves me wrong or gets very frequent. - r2_d21TutorThanks 'preumbra'.
When I browse bug database on Adobe's bug tracking, there are similar bugs (causing #2038 at second file during upload).
Flash engineer is out of town for weeks. I will work with him to find work around solution (probably re-try?) when he returns. - Darth_VaderNETGEAR Employee Retiredpreumbra, spaced_out,
Do you guys still having problem with photo uploads?
